안녕하세요, 경제학부 대학원생 및 학부생 여러분.
Macro/International Brown Bag 세미나는 거시·국제경제학 분야의 연구를 함께 읽고 논의하는 모임입니다. 다음 학기부터는 형식을 개편하여, 참여자들이 직접 자신의 연구를 발표하는 방식으로 운영하고자 합니다. 이에 발표를 희망하는 분들의 신청을 받습니다.
다음 학기에는 수요일 12시 30분에 세미나를 진행할 예정입니다 (추후 확정할 예정).
신청 방법
아래 두 가지 형식 중 하나로 1페이지 분량의 제안서를 작성해 주세요.

- 연구 제안 (Research Proposal)
- 진행 중이거나 앞으로 하려는 연구 주제
- 핵심 질문(research question)과 접근 방법
- 기존 연구와의 관련성 또는 차별점을 간단히
- 아이디어 단계여도 괜찮습니다.
- 문헌 리뷰 (Literature Review)
- 관심 분야의 핵심 논문 몇 편 소개
- 논문의 질문·방법·결과·기여 등 주요 요소 중 필요한 내용 서술
- 이 문헌들을 바탕으로 본인이 어떤 연구를 발전시키고 싶은지
- 기존 연구의 공백(gap)과 본인의 방향성
세미나의 취지 상, 본인의 연구 아이디어를 발전시켜 발표하려는 Research Proposal 제출자에게 발표 및 참여 우선권이 주어질 예정입니다. 다만 아직 구체적인 연구 주제가 정해지지 않은 학생들도 Literature Review 형식으로 관심 분야를 정리하고 향후 연구 방향을 탐색할 수 있으니, 부담 없이 신청해 주시기 바랍니다. 문헌 리뷰 발표 역시 이후 연구 아이디어로 발전할 수 있는 출발점으로 환영합니다. 대학원생은 대학원 교육과정과 연계되어 운영되는 만큼 제안서를 제출하면 모두 참석하실 수 있으며, 학부생은 제안서를 제출한 지원자 중에서 참석자를 선정합니다. 아울러 지난 학기 안내드린 대로, 지난 학기 세미나 참여도 역시 발표자 선정 등에 반영됩니다. 지난 학기 세미나에 참여해 주신 분들께 감사드립니다.

For international students:
The Macro/International Brown Bag Seminar is a group for reading and discussing research in macroeconomics and international economics. Starting next semester, participants will present their own work. To apply, please submit a one-page proposal in one of two formats — a Research Proposal (your research question, approach, and how it relates to or differs from existing work; early-stage ideas are welcome) or a Literature Review (a few key papers in your area and the research direction you would like to develop from them). Priority is given to Research Proposal submissions, but Literature Review applicants are equally encouraged. As the seminar is run in connection with the graduate curriculum, all graduate students who submit a proposal are welcome to attend; for undergraduate students, participants will be selected from among those who submit a proposal.
