               4) Korean Language Intensive Course(한국어 집중 수업 지원)
                  : 언어교육원 한국어 수업 1회(10주) 등록금 지원

            나. 신청대상 : 본교 외국인 대학원생(2013학년도 2학기 입학예정자 및 재학생)

            다. 수혜기간 : 1년(Korean Language Intensive Course : 10주)
                 ※ 재신청 가능

            라. 신청서류
              1) 신청서식 1부(붙임 1)
              2) 2012년 가족의 소득증명서 혹은 소득세 납부증명서(국문 혹은 영문) 1부
              3) 최종학력 성적표 1부
              4) 재학생 : 서울대 입학후 성적증명서, 지도교수추천서
                 입학예정자 : 학과장 추천서

            마. 제출처 및 신청방법 : 소속 학과(부) 사무실로 방문하여 제출

            바. 신청기간 : 2013.05.01.(수) ~ 2013.05.31.(금) 18:00까지

            사. 결과발표 : 2013.07.26.(금), 최종선발자에게 개별 연락

A Call for SNU Global Scholarship Applications

 

Seoul National University (SNU) is proud to announce a call for SNU Global Scholarship applications for Fall Semester 2013 to motivated and high-calibre graduatestudents at SNU. This Global Scholarship is designed to enable highly competitive students to concentrate on their research, and to promote global research environment at SNU.

 

Applicants can choose more than one program among four options in their SNU Global Scholarship application form.

 

■ SNU Global Scholarship for Fall 2013

 

1. Eligibility: International graduate students of SNU

2. Number of recipients

※ The number of recipients of each College will be determined after screening applications.

3. Subsidies
1) Public Sector Scholarship (Scholarship for public sector employees from developing countries, in Korean 개발도상국 공공부문 종사자 장학금)

: Tuition, Living Expenses(monthly KRW1,200,000), Round-trip Airfare

※ Eligibility : Graduate students with more than one year work experience at the public sector up to one year prior to the announcement of SNU admissions result.

※ Please submit the official document in English or Korean with an official seal, indicating employment history at the public sector.

 

2) SNU Global Scholarship 1

(in Korean '초우수 외국인 학문후속 세대 지원')

: Tuition, Living Expenses(monthly KRW1,200,000), Round-trip Airfare

 

3) SNU Global Scholarship 2

(in Korean '초우수 외국인 핵심인재 지원') : Tuition

 

4) Korean Language Intensive Course

: Tuition for Korean Language classes for 1 session(10 weeks) at the Language Education Institute of SNU

 

4. Duration of Award: 1 year

※ After 1 year, the scholarship recipients can be continuously awarded the SNU Global Scholarship depending on evaluation of professors at their respective College.

※ Please note that the recipients of SNU Global Scholarship Program might be restricted from taking leave of absence.

 

5. Required documents

1) Application form

2) Official documents in English or Korean indicating family’s gross income or income tax return in 2012

3) Transcript of academic record at your final educational institution

 

6. Submission

Please submit an application and other required documents by post or in person to the Scholarship Officer at your respective College (which you belong to), SNU
