EcoMod Net 교육프로그램(제주) 안내

1. EcoMod Net / EcoMod Modeling School

 ○ EcoMod Network는 미국 매사추세츠주 Northampton에 본부를 두고 있는 정책분석 및 개발, 예측, 경제모형 구축에 관한 세계적인 교육기관임
 ○ EcoMod Network는 정책모형에 관심이 있는 연구자들의 전 세계적인 네트워크로, 정책결정자와 경영자들이 더 나은 의사결정을 할 수 있도록 지원함
 ○ 해당 분야 세계 최고의 강사를 구성하여 최고의 정책모형 구축 교육을 제공하고 있으며, 전 세계 150개국 이상, 1,000개 이상의 기관(정부관료, 중앙은행, 대학, 연구기관)에서 온 연구자들이 EcoMod의 모형 교육을 이수함
 ○ EcoMod Modeling School은 Mod Network가 주관하는 전문교육 프로그램으로 2017년에는 제주, 체코의 프라하, 미국 Washington D.C., 영국 London, Singapore에서 개최 예정

2. EcoMod Net 제주 프로그램

○ 제주발전연구원, EcoMod Net, 제주대학교는 공동으로 EcoMod Net의 교육프로그램(아래의 3개 강좌)을 2017년 2월 13일부터 2월 17일까지 제주대학교에서 개설하기로 합의
  - 3개 강좌 개설 예정
  - 한 강좌당 20명으로 구성되며 영어로 강의 진행(세계 최고 수준의 강사진)
  - 강의는 월-금 5일(1일 8시간 강의(실습포함)) 진행
  - 숙박은 제주대학교 기숙사를 활용(기숙사비 실비로 참가자 부담)
  - 비용 : $3,425 (학생은 25% 할인, 한 기관에서 2명 이상 참여시 할인 혜택)
          일부 프로그램의 경우 사전 등록시 $500 (학생은 $400) 할인 가능

EcoMod Modeling School will offer the following intensive and hands-on courses in economic modeling in Jeju, South Korea, on February 13 – 17, 2017:
· Practical General Equilibrium Modeling with GAMS
· Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) Modeling Step-By-Step
· Tax Revenue Modeling Using Econometric and Microsimulation Techniques with EViews and Stata
The program is hosted by the Jeju Development(JDI) and Jeju National University.
All EcoMod courses are fully practical and provide hands-on experience through intensive use of exercises on the computer. Participants actually build the models step-by-step with individualized guidance from instructors from small to large scale and from simple to complex structure.
